Direct private investments
Citi Direct Private Investments offers curated institutional-quality investments exclusively to our sophisticated clients.
Direct, co-investment and joint venture opportunities can provide an additional source of returns and diversification in core and opportunistic portfolios.
They also enable you to invest alongside like-minded financial institutions and family offices.
Our dedicated direct private investment team sources these opportunities from Citi’s institutional network globally and from third-party sponsors.
We then connect you directly to the financial sponsor or corporate issuer, so that you can conduct your own extensive due diligence of each transaction.
Direct private investments could help to empower visionary founders and companies not only with strategic capital, but also with insights and expertise from their own businesses and other investments.
Our direct private investments are reserved for clients that meet the regulatory, liquidity, and net worth requirements of the DPI program.
Citi’s extensive global network and institutional resources enable us to identify direct private equity opportunities to offer to our qualified clients.
The contacts that are cultivated with sponsors and issuers could help enable qualified clients to build relationships with like-minded institutional investors and family offices from around the world.
They also cover a variety of structures, sectors and regions.
To guide investor decision making, issuers provide direct access to their data room.
This enables independent evaluation of confidential transaction information.
