November 4, 2022
SUMMARY

Citi has won recognition in three categories of the Global Private Banking Awards: ‘Best Global Private Bank,’ ‘Best Chief Investment Office in Private Banking,’ and ‘Best Private Bank for Entrepreneurs.

Commenting on the firm’s win, Ida Liu, Global Head of Citi Private Bank, said: “We are proud of the work we do with our clients around the world, as trusted partners, to help with their current and longer term financial goals. By leveraging our broader network across Citi, and geographies, we are positioned to deliver for our ultra-high net worth clients, their families and their companies. On behalf of all of us at Citi Private Bank, we are honored to receive the Global Private Banking Awards.”

Luigi Pigorini, EMEA Head of Citi Global Wealth and EMEA Head of Citi Private Bank, commented: “It is a great honor to be recognized by the Global Private Banking Awards. These awards are a true reflection of our strengths and our commitment to delivering world-class service to our valued clients. Their wealth management needs are complex, and so is the world we live in. That is why we take pride in our distinctive approach, which is highly personalized and forward-looking. I would like to congratulate our incredible team and thank the judging panel for this recognition.”

Now in their fourteenth year, the Global Private Banking Awards have firmly established themselves as one of the world’s most prestigious private banking awards. Each year, submissions are assessed by an independent panel of esteemed industry judges based in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. These awards gather qualitative and quantitative information from private banking groups in order to give a set of awards for excellence.

Editor-in-Chief of Professional Wealth Management, Yuri Bender, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said: “In their deliberations, the judges recognized how Citi is making sophisticated investment strategies available to a broader range of clients, while maintaining service levels for the wealthiest segment. They noted, in particular, the high quality of advice coming from the chief investment office, which identifies key themes for outperformance of portfolios and aims to anticipate market trends.”

The Global Private Banking Awards are a part of Professional Wealth Management (PWM) and The Banker, which are published by the Financial Times.
